Foundations Commander Deck: Keen Engineering

Build your own flying machine army, one artifact at a time. The Keen Engineering Foundations Commander Deck is an accessible mono-blue deck where artifacts form the gears and Thopters appear automatically as you build your strategy.

Sai, Master Thopterist turns every artifact spell you cast into an extra 1/1 flying Thopter. This means almost everything you already want to play simultaneously increases your presence on the battlefield. Have spare artifacts? Then Sai can sacrifice them to draw new cards and keep your machine running.

Why choose Keen Engineering?

• Beginner friendly: A clear artifact strategy makes it easy to understand which cards work well together.
• Artifacts are doubly rewarded: Every artifact spell automatically yields an extra flying Thopter via Sai.
• Build an army automatically: You don't have to choose between developing your engine and creating creatures — Sai does both at once.
• Built-in card draw: Two artifacts you no longer need can be traded in for a new card.
• Flying tokens: Your Thopters can apply pressure from the air while you continue to build on the ground.
• Mono-Blue: A single color keeps the mana base simple while you get acquainted with artifacts, tokens, and resource management.
