Foundations Commander Deck: Tramplesaurus Rex

Sometimes a Commander strategy doesn't need to be more complicated than: play something big. And then something even bigger. The Tramplesaurus Rex Foundations Commander Deck focuses on massive creatures and brute power, with Ghalta, Primal Hunger as a 12/12 at the top of the food chain.

This mono-green deck rewards you for doing exactly what green does best: playing creatures, building up massive power, and converting that strength directly into an advantage. The larger your existing creatures are, the cheaper Ghalta becomes to cast. Afterward, trample ensures that even blockers cannot completely stop your attack.

Why choose Tramplesaurus Rex?

• Beginner friendly: Play creatures, build up power, and attack — the game plan is easy to grasp.
• Ghalta is a 12/12: Your commander is a huge threat on its own and also features trample.
• Power makes Ghalta cheaper: The more total creature power you control, the less mana you have to pay for Ghalta.
• Big creatures matter: The deck encourages you to put down increasingly larger threats instead of building complex spell combinations.
• Trample keeps the pressure on: Even when a large creature is blocked, excess damage can carry over to your opponent.
• Mono-Green: A simple mana base and a clear creature-focused plan make this a particularly accessible introduction to Commander.
