Adventures in the Forgotten Realms Commander Deck: Dungeons of Death
Free pickup in Maastricht, by appointment. How it works
Every creature that vanishes into your graveyard brings you one room closer to the treasure. Dungeons of Death is a white-blue-black Commander Deck centered around Sefris of the Hidden Ways, dungeon exploration, and returning powerful creatures from your graveyard.
This ready-to-play Commander Deck from Dungeons & Dragons: Adventures in the Forgotten Realms combines the venture into the dungeon mechanic with graveyard synergy and reanimation. Fill your graveyard, make your way through the dungeons, and let Sefris bring fallen creatures back to the battlefield.
Whenever one or more creature cards enter your graveyard, Sefris lets you venture into the dungeon once per turn. If you complete a dungeon, you may return a creature card from your graveyard directly to the battlefield.
Sefris of the Hidden Ways
Sefris of the Hidden Ways is an Esper Commander with a clear engine: getting creatures into your graveyard, traversing dungeon rooms, and then reusing the best creatures.
Because Sefris can trigger when a creature card enters your graveyard from any zone, various parts of the deck work together. Looting effects like Merfolk Looter, creatures that sacrifice themselves or go to the graveyard, and cards like Victimize and Unburial Rites help you fill your graveyard while simultaneously getting value out of those creatures.
Commander: Sefris of the Hidden Ways
Strategy: Dungeons, graveyard & reanimation
From dungeon room to reanimation
The deck is not just about reaching the end of a dungeon. The path there provides room abilities each time, while completing the dungeon triggers Sefris' second ability: you return a creature card from your graveyard to the battlefield.
This allows you to reuse creatures with powerful enter-the-battlefield effects. Sun Titan, Ashen Rider, Cloudblazer, Cataclysmic Gearhulk, and Mulldrifter are among the cards that fit well with that plan.

17 new Commander cards

For what type of Commander player?
Dungeons of Death is especially suitable for players who enjoy having multiple systems work together simultaneously. Instead of just putting creatures on the table and attacking, you build your graveyard throughout the game, make choices while going through dungeons, and try to use valuable creatures multiple times.
- You love graveyard and reanimation strategies.
- You want to actively play with the venture into the dungeon mechanic.
- You like playing Esper: white, blue, and black.
- You find value engines and enter-the-battlefield effects more interesting than a purely aggressive deck.
- You are looking for a ready-to-play Commander Deck with a clear Dungeons & Dragons identity.
