Marvel Super Heroes Commander Deck: Doom Prevails
Free pickup in Maastricht, by appointment. How it works
There is only one ruler of Latveria — and at this Commander table, that is Doctor Doom. The Doom Prevails Commander Deck puts you in charge of an army of Marvel villains that wins through manipulation, clever card advantage, and opportunistic attacks.
Doctor Doom, King of Latveria leads this blue-black-red Commander deck and lets your Villains connive to improve your hand, strengthen creatures, and pressure opponents. With Loki, the Deceiver as one of the key alternate leaders, you can even temporarily copy your best Villains. This is no simple army that just attacks — Doom wins by always thinking one plan ahead.
Why choose Doom Prevails?
- An army of Villains: Doctor Doom rewards you for deploying Marvel villains and gives one of your Villains menace and connive each turn.
- Connive & discard: Draw cards, filter your hand, and have Doctor Doom make opponents lose life when you discard lands in the process.
- Loki as an alternative: Loki, the Deceiver can create a temporary copy of another Villain while attacking and rewards successful attacks with extra cards.
- 29 new Magic cards: The deck contains 29 new-to-Magic cards designed specifically for this Commander release.
- Famous Marvel villains: Among others, Ultron, Kang, Killmonger, Helmut Zemo, Madame Hydra, Iron Monger, and various versions of Loki are part of Doom's plans.
- Strong Commander reprints: The deck contains well-known cards such as Black Market Connections, Toxic Deluge, Skullclamp, Propaganda, and Vandalblast.
