Five colors. Five strategies. Everything you need to discover Commander. With the Foundations Commander Deck Set, you get all five beginner-friendly Commander decks in one complete bundle—from Angels and Zombies to Dragons, artifacts, and massive Dinosaurs.

Each deck uses only one Magic color and has a clearly recognizable strategy. This makes this complete set ideal for new Commander players, as well as for a playgroup that wants to put multiple ready-to-play decks on the table right away. Choose a different color each game, discover which playstyle suits you best, or use the five decks to introduce friends to Commander.

Complete set: 5 Commander Decks · 500 cards · 5 colors · 5 different strategies

Why choose the complete Foundations Commander Set?

  • All five decks at once: You receive Calling All Angels, Keen Engineering, Wretched Ranks, Reign of Dragons, and Tramplesaurus Rex.
  • Designed for new Commander players: Foundations Commander Decks offer an accessible way to get to know Magic's most popular multiplayer format.
  • Five mono-colored strategies: Each deck uses one color, keeping the mana base simpler and clearly showcasing the identity of each Magic color.
  • A complete Commander table: With five fully playable decks, you immediately have enough different options for a Commander night with friends.
  • Discover what suits you: Try Angels, artifacts, Zombies, Dragons, and big creatures without having to build five decks yourself first.
  • Ready to play out of the box: Each deck contains 100 cards, tokens, a deck box, strategy insert, and reference card.

Discover the five Commander Decks

Calling All Angels
⚪ Mono-White  |  Giada, Font of Hope
Build an ever-growing flying army of Angels. Giada helps you cast Angels and ensures that every subsequent Angel enters the battlefield stronger.
Keen Engineering
🔵 Mono-Blue  |  Sai, Master Thopterist
Play artifacts while building a fleet of flying Thopters automatically. An accessible introduction to artifact synergy, tokens, and card advantage.
Wretched Ranks
⚫ Mono-Black  |  Ghoulcaller Gisa
Sacrifice creatures and turn them into a growing Zombie horde. The more bodies that appear on the battlefield, the harder it becomes to stop the undead.
Reign of Dragons
🔴 Mono-Red  |  Lathliss, Dragon Queen
Build up mana and send increasingly large Dragons into the air. Lathliss rewards every new non-token Dragon with another 5/5 flying Dragon.
Tramplesaurus Rex
🟢 Mono-Green  |  Ghalta, Primal Hunger
Play big creatures, accumulate more and more power, and use that strength to make Ghalta cheaper to cast. A straightforward strategy for anyone who just wants to attack really hard.
