Foundations: Beginner Box

Never played Magic before? Start here. The Foundations Beginner Box is exactly what the name promises: the easiest way to play your very first game of Magic: The Gathering, without anyone needing to read the rules out loud to you.

Two ready-to-play decks, two manuals that literally guide you turn-by-turn through your first match, and eight additional packs to experiment with afterwards. Perfect for discovering what makes Magic so addictive, together with a friend, partner, or your child.

Why this box?

• Two instant-play decks: A Cats deck and a Vampires deck (20 cards each), pre-sorted so you can get started right away — no shuffling needed for your first game.
• Step-by-step guidance: Two Quick Start guides lead you through your first five turns, turn by turn.
• Continue exploring: Eight Jumpstart packs (20 cards each) — two for each color. Shuffle two together and you have a new deck.
• Everything included: Two playmats with marked zones, two spindown life counters, and a rulebook.
• For 2 players: Perfect if you want to learn together with someone else.
