Free pickup in Maastricht, by appointment. How it works
You are ordering this product in advance. We ship as soon as the new release arrives at SpellArmory.
Our pre-order policy applies. Read it for details on delivery, combining orders and cancellation.
Read the pre-order policy →Resistance is futile. Add your biological and technological distinctiveness to the Collective with We Are the Borg, a white-blue-black Commander Deck in which the Borg Queen seeks to unite ever more creatures and technology under one perfect Collective.
We Are the Borg builds an army of Borg tokens and artifact creatures and uses Assimilate to make even your opponents' creatures part of the Collective. What stood against you just moments ago may soon be on your side of the battlefield with a +1/+1 counter.
Why choose We Are the Borg?
- Assimilate your opponents: The new Assimilate mechanic can bring creatures under your control and make them part of the Borg.
- Expand the Collective: Borg tokens and other creatures ensure your forces keep growing.
- Stolen creatures become Borg: An assimilated creature gains a +1/+1 counter, becomes a Borg artifact creature, and loses its other creature types.
- Numerical superiority: The official deck concept revolves around gathering more and more bodies under one Collective.
- Esper supports control: White, blue, and black provide access to removal, card advantage, artifacts, and ways to turn opponents' resources against them.
- One of the most thematic Star Trek strategies: In Magic, the Borg do exactly what you expect: adapt, assimilate, and grow.
Your biological and technological distinctiveness will be added to our own.
For players who love artifacts, control, and stealing or taking over opponents' resources. This makes We Are the Borg feel very different from a standard creature precon: the best creature at the table didn't necessarily have to start out as yours.
