Marvel Super Heroes will be released on June 26, 2026, with prerelease starting on June 19. Play Boosters, Collector Boosters, and Prerelease Packs are not delayed in Europe. Some other products (Commander decks, Bundles, Beginner Boxes, Scene Boxes, Welcome Decks, and Jumpstart Boosters) will be partially delayed. Below, for each product: what will and what will not be on time.
The hype around Marvel Super Heroes is big — and rightly so. Four Commander decks, a new Beginner Box, Scene Boxes, and the usual Play and Collector Boosters. But Wizards of the Coast announced in early June that some of the products would arrive late in EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa). For me as a webshop, this means many messages from customers wondering what that means for their pre-order. Therefore, this overview — straight to the point, without hype-talk.
What remains on time? (most important first)
The good news: the products most players and collectors are waiting for are not delayed in Europe:
- Play Booster Boxes & loose Play Boosters — simply on time
- Collector Booster Boxes & loose Collector Boosters — simply on time
- Prerelease Packs — simply on time, so prerelease events on June 19 will proceed
That's exactly where the largest pre-order volumes are. Those who have ordered boosters or a box are good to go.
What will arrive later?
The delay primarily affects supplementary and starter products. Wizards has not provided exact dates per product — it could be days to several weeks. Officially, these items are affected:

- June 26 – Aug 6, 2026 — Magic Academy and Standard Showdown events in local game stores
- July 17 – 23, 2026 — God of Mischief, a special Commander event where one player takes on the role of Loki against three opponents
What does this mean for your pre-order at SpellArmory?
Very concretely:
- Have you ordered Play Boosters, a Booster Box, Collector Boosters, or a Prerelease Pack? No problem — these will be shipped from June 18, as agreed.
- Have you ordered a Commander deck, Bundle, Scene Box, Beginner Box, Jumpstart Booster, or Welcome Deck? Possibly a few days to a few weeks later than release. As soon as I know when my distributor has them in stock, you will receive a personal message.
- Prefer to wait or exchange? No problem, send me a message and we'll sort it out.
💡 Tip: Want to be sure of your product at release? Pre-ordering remains the best way. At SpellArmory: max 1 Collector Booster Box per person, max 2 of other items. No scalper tactics, just fair distribution so everyone gets a turn. You can read more about this in my article about scalping.
