With new Magic: The Gathering releases, you often want to be on top of things. Pre-ordering from SpellArmory allows you to reserve your products so you don't miss out when the set officially launches.

What is a pre-order?

A pre-order is an order you place before a product's official release date. This allows you to reserve one or more items from an upcoming set, such as:

  • Booster boxes or display boxes
  • Bundles
  • Commander decks
  • Other special products around a release

How does a pre-order work at SpellArmory?

  1. You will see the product clearly marked as Pre-order in the webshop.
  2. The expected release date is stated in the product description.
  3. You place your order and pay as you are used to (for example with iDEAL or credit card).
  4. We reserve your products with our supplier/distributor.
  5. We will process and ship your pre-order around the release date.

Payment for pre-orders

Pre-orders at SpellArmory are processed immediately upon placing your order. This means:

  • The amount will be collected immediately via your chosen payment method.
  • You are certain that your reservation has been confirmed.

The reason for this is that we also purchase from our distributors based on your pre-orders. This allows us to better plan inventory and continue to offer competitive prices.

Shipping & Release Date

We use the official release date as communicated by the publisher/distributor. In practice, this means:

  • We aim to ship your order so that you receive it around or shortly after the release date .
  • We depend on deliveries from our distributors. If a delivery arrives unexpectedly late, your order may be delayed by a few days.

The date you see on the product page is an expected date . This can be changed by the supplier or publisher. We will, of course, keep you informed as much as possible of any major changes.

Combine pre-orders with other items

Please note: if you combine a pre-order with items that are already available for immediate delivery , we will generally ship the order all at once as soon as the pre-order is ready for shipment.

Would you like products available for immediate delivery to be shipped earlier than your pre-order? Please contact us via the contact page after placing your order. In some cases, this may mean additional shipping costs for a second shipment.

Cancelling or changing a pre-order

If you want to cancel or change your pre-order, please contact us as soon as possible via the contact page with your order number and your request.

  • In many cases, cancellation or changes are still possible as long as we have not yet purchased or shipped the products.
  • If the order has already been processed or shipped, normal Shipping & Returns rules apply.

Delays & Availability (Allocations)

Unfortunately, with pre-orders it can sometimes happen that:

  • A product is delayed by the supplier.
  • One product less is delivered than initially confirmed (allocation).

If a product you've reserved is not (fully) available , we'll contact you as soon as possible. We'll then offer you a suitable solution, such as an alternative product or an immediate refund.

SpellShards & pre-orders

You can also earn SpellShards with pre-orders through the SpellShards Loyalty Program . SpellShards are awarded based on the amount of your order at the time you pay for your pre-order.
