Defend Eorzea — and do it entirely in Surge Foil. The Scions & Spellcraft Collector's Edition brings the heroes, spells, and iconic moments of FINAL FANTASY XIV together into a fully playable Commander Deck led by Y'shtola, Night's Blessed.
This premium Collector's Edition contains the same 100-card decklist as the regular Scions & Spellcraft precon, but all 100 cards are featured in Surge Foil. The white-blue-black deck revolves around noncreature spells, card advantage, and control: cast powerful magic, keep the battlefield in check, and let Y'shtola turn every larger spell into damage, life gain, and eventually even more cards.

★ Collector's Edition — 100 cards in Surge Foil
This is the premium Collector's Edition of Scions & Spellcraft. Not just the commanders, but all 100 cards in the Commander Deck receive the Surge Foil treatment. The 10 included double-sided tokens are also Surge Foil.
Why choose the Scions & Spellcraft Collector's Edition?
- All 100 cards are Surge Foil: From Y'shtola and G'raha Tia to Sol Ring, Archmage Emeritus, Baleful Strix, and the basic lands — the entire decklist receives the premium foil treatment.
- FINAL FANTASY XIV takes center stage: Play with Y'shtola, G'raha Tia, Thancred, Alphinaud, Alisaie, Urianger, Estinien, Emet-Selch, and other famous characters from Eorzea.
- Noncreature spells are your primary weapon: Y'shtola rewards larger instants, sorceries, artifacts, and enchantments with damage to every opponent and life gain for you.
- Plenty of card advantage: Y'shtola, Archmage Emeritus, Cut a Deal, Dig Through Time, Into the Story, and Tome of Legends help you keep your hand filled.
- Control the table: Void Rend, Vindicate, Crux of Fate, Final Judgment, Cleansing Nova, and Sublime Epiphany give you answers to almost any problem.
- 25 cards new to Magic: Each FINAL FANTASY Commander precon contains 25 new-to-Magic cards, combined with existing Commander cards that have been completely redesigned with FINAL FANTASY artwork.
Master the spell. Control the battle.
Y'shtola, Night's Blessed
Face Commander · White / Blue / Black · Cat Warlock · Surge Foil
Y'shtola is a 2/4 with vigilance. Whenever you cast a noncreature spell with mana value 3 or greater, she deals 2 damage to each opponent and you gain 2 life. At the beginning of each end step, you also draw a card if a player lost 4 or more life that turn.
G'raha Tia, Scion Reborn
Featured Commander · White / Blue / Black · Cat Wizard · Surge Foil
G'raha Tia has lifelink. Whenever you cast a noncreature spell, you may pay life equal to that spell's mana value once per turn. If you do, create a 1/1 colorless Hero creature token and put that many +1/+1 counters on it. A costly spell thus simultaneously provides a sturdy new Hero.
How does Scions & Spellcraft play?
The deck translates the spellcasting- and ability-driven gameplay of FINAL FANTASY XIV into Commander. You use creatures to build your engine, but many of your strongest moments come from noncreature spells. Y'shtola primarily turns spells with mana value 3 or greater into extra pressure, while your removal and card draw ensure you can maintain control over a longer multiplayer game.

The decklist and play strategy are the same. The difference lies in the premium finish: the Collector's Edition gives the entire deck the signature Surge Foil treatment.
For player and collector alike.
Scions & Spellcraft Collector's Edition is fully playable as a Commander Deck, but is especially interesting for FINAL FANTASY XIV fans and collectors who want not just the two commanders, but the complete precon in a premium foil version.
