Article 1. Definitions

In these terms and conditions, the following definitions apply:

  1. Entrepreneur: SpellArmory, located in Maastricht, registered with the Chamber of Commerce under number 98579827.
  2. Customer: The natural person who places an order with SpellArmory.
  3. Products: All goods offered by SpellArmory, including Magic: The Gathering singles, sealed products, and accessories.

Article 2. Applicability

  1. These general terms and conditions apply to every offer made by SpellArmory and to every agreement concluded between the entrepreneur and the customer.
  2. Before the distance contract is concluded, the text of these general terms and conditions will be made available to the customer via the website.

Article 3. The Offer and Grading

  1. If an offer has a limited validity period or is made subject to conditions, this will be explicitly stated in the offer.
  2. Singles & Grading: For individual cards (singles), SpellArmory uses the official grading standards of Cardmarket (NM, EX, GD, LP, PL, PO). Although we assess the condition of cards with the greatest care, grading remains a human process. In case of disagreement about the condition, we will always seek an appropriate solution.
  3. Images of singles may be 'stock photos'. For more expensive cards or specific versions, we try to use our own scans.

Article 4. Price and Payment

  1. The stated prices are in euros, including VAT, unless otherwise stated.
  2. Margin Scheme: For used goods (such as individual Magic cards/singles), the margin scheme is applied. In this case, 0% VAT is stated on the invoice, as the VAT has already been paid in the previous trade process.
  3. For new products (sealed product, sleeves, deck boxes), the regular VAT rate of 21% applies.
  4. Payment must be made via the payment methods offered in the webshop (such as iDEAL, Bancontact, etc.) prior to shipment.

Article 5. Delivery and Execution

  1. SpellArmory aims to ship orders within 1–2 business days after receipt of payment. Different delivery times apply to pre-orders, as described on the pre-order page.
  2. Shipment takes place via PostNL or DHL. The risk of damage or loss of products rests with the entrepreneur until the moment of delivery to the customer, unless explicitly agreed otherwise.
  3. Combining: Orders placed via the webshop and Cardmarket can be shipped together. Excess shipping costs paid will be compensated in that case (for example, via our 5% refund scheme).

Article 6. Right of Withdrawal (Returns)

  1. The customer has the right to dissolve the purchase without stating reasons within 30 days of receipt (cooling-off period). This is longer than the statutory period of 14 days.
  2. Exception for sealed products: Sealed products (Booster Boxes, Bundles, Commander Decks, Booster Packs and other sealed products) can only be returned if the original factory seal is completely intact and undamaged. Once the seal is broken, the purchase is final and cannot be returned, given the nature of Trading Card Games and the value strongly dependent on their unopened state.
  3. Authenticity and manipulation check: SpellArmory inspects returned sealed products for authenticity and for signs of opening, manipulation, or resealing. Returns showing signs of opening, resealing, swapped contents, or a different weight or packaging compared to the item shipped will be refused and not refunded. In case of reasonable suspicion of deliberate fraud, SpellArmory reserves the right to report it.
  4. SpellArmory may document (photo, weight and/or a discreet authenticity mark) outgoing valuable sealed products before shipment to determine their condition upon shipping.
  5. When returning singles, they must be sent back in the exact same condition (grading) and packaging.
  6. The costs for return shipment are for the customer, unless SpellArmory is at fault.

Article 7. Complaints Procedure

  1. Do you have a complaint about the condition of a card or the delivery? Please contact us as soon as possible via our contact page, by email (info@spellarmory.com) or via WhatsApp.
  2. We aim to answer complaints within 1–2 business days and will respond within 14 days at the latest. SpellArmory is happy to resolve issues in mutual consultation (for example, by replacement or refund).
