Why settle for a planet the way you find it, when you can completely reshape it? The World Shaper Commander Deck turns lands into fuel, making them vanish and return, all while building Hearthhull, the Worldseed from a dormant Spacecraft into a 6/7 flying world-shaper.
This black-red-green deck is all about sacrificing lands, replaying them from your graveyard, and profiting from landfall and sacrifice triggers. Starting with just two charge counters, Hearthhull can sacrifice a land to draw two cards and let you play an extra land that turn. Once the Spacecraft reaches eight charge counters, the engine really starts running: Hearthhull becomes a creature with flying, vigilance, and haste. And every time you sacrifice a land, all your opponents lose 2 life.

Why choose World Shaper?
-
Lands are fuel: Hearthhull, Harrow, Springbloom Druid, Roiling Regrowth, God-Eternal Bontu, and other cards let you intentionally sacrifice permanents and lands.
-
Your lands don't stay gone for long: Splendid Reclamation, Aftermath Analyst, Worldsoul's Rage, Multani, and various other cards bring lands back from your graveyard.
-
Hearthhull turns sacrifice into card advantage: From two charge counters onwards, you can pay {1} to sacrifice a land to draw two cards and be allowed to play an extra land that turn.
-
Every sacrifice puts pressure on the table: When you sacrifice a land, Hearthhull causes every opponent to lose 2 life.
-
Landfall becomes a win condition: Omnath, Locus of Rage, Rampaging Baloths, Moraug, Fury of Akoum, and Tireless Tracker reward you when you replay all those returning lands.
-
Many famous Commander powerhouses: Korvold, Fae-Cursed King, The Gitrog Monster, Titania, Protector of Argoth, Oracle of Mul Daya, and Soul of Windgrace are included right in the list.
Sacrifice the old world. Grow a new one.
Hearthhull, the Worldseed
Face Commander · Black / Red / Green · Legendary Spacecraft
Station creatures to Hearthhull to build up charge counters. Starting at two counters, you can pay {1}, tap Hearthhull, and sacrifice a land to draw two cards and play an extra land that turn. At eight counters, the Spacecraft becomes a 6/7 artifact creature with flying, vigilance, and haste. Meanwhile, every land sacrifice causes each opponent to lose 2 life.
Szarel, Genesis Shepherd
Featured Commander · Black / Red / Green · Insect Druid
Szarel has flying and lets you play lands directly from your graveyard. Plus, when you sacrifice another non-token permanent during your turn, you may put a number of +1/+1 counters equal to Szarel's power onto another creature. Those larger creatures can then station Hearthhull even faster.
How does Station work?
A Spacecraft starts as an artifact and is not yet a creature. With Station, you may tap another creature during your main phase when you could play a sorcery. The Spacecraft gains charge counters equal to that creature's power. Hearthhull unlocks an ability at 2+ counters and becomes a 6/7 artifact creature itself at 8+ counters.
Playstyle:
World Shaper is not a standard ramp deck. You want to intentionally let lands die, extract value from them, and then replay them. This allows one land and one sacrifice effect to go through multiple landfall, death, and graveyard triggers before you are finished with them.
New to Commander?
Because of Station, graveyard recursion, and land sacrifice, World Shaper has a few more moving parts than a simple creature-heavy precon. If you are new to Commander, it helps to first know the basics of the format.
